At Mango Moi we take pride in hand selecting raw and unrefined butters. See below for a detailed break down of each butter we use and why we use them.

 Raw Mango Butter

found in Mango Essence, Mango Pomegranate, and Sweet Rose

Mango Butter is derived from the kernel of the "King of Fruits". The Mango Butter we use is sourced from Ghana. We chose Mango Butter as our base for many reasons. 1. It provides long lasting moisture for dry skin and dry/brittle hair, 2. It is a great alternative for those who are sensitive to shea butter, 3. It's anti-aging, 4. Strengthens damaged hair, 5. Adds shine to hair, and 6. Soothes symptoms of eczema and psoriasis.

 Cupuaçu Butter

found in Mango Essence, Mango Pomegranate, and Sweet Rose

Cupuaçu Butter is pronounced as "kap-oo-ah-sue". Cupuaçu Butter is cold pressed from the seed of the Cupuaçu fruit, native to the Amazon Rainforest. The butter has light a chocolatey scent. Cupuaçu Butter promotes collagen production which keeps your skin looking youthful, it retains 2x more moisture than shea butter, making it ideal for sealing moisture for your hair, and it supports skin and hair protection against damage caused by free radicals.

Kokum Butter

found in Mango Essence, Mango Pomegranate and Sweet Rose

Kokum Butter, sourced from India, helps heal extremely dry or cracked skin. Kokum Butter also stimulates the scalp which promotes hair growth, enhances hair elasticity which can prevent hair breakage, and aids in reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
